What this is
AI agents are tools that can follow a goal through several steps: reading an inbox, looking something up, drafting a reply, updating a sheet. Used carelessly they create messes; used deliberately they can absorb a real share of routine operations work. This course shows operators how to pick the right first jobs for an agent, map the workflow before touching a tool, connect the apps involved, and keep a human in the loop where it matters. You finish with one working agent workflow documented well enough that someone else on your team could maintain it.
You work through it at your own pace, lesson by lesson, applying each exercise to your own situation. It does not promise time saved, income or business results; what you get out of it depends on how you apply it to your own work.
What you will be able to do
- Tell the difference between a prompt, an automation and an agent, and when each is the right fit
- Score your recurring tasks to find safe, high-value candidates for an agent
- Map an agent workflow step by step, including inputs, decisions and hand-offs
- Write agent instructions with clear goals, limits and escalation rules
- Connect common business apps and test the agent against real examples
